In this activity, participants work together to collaborate on a design for a structure that will float. When additional weight is added, teams go back to the drawing board to see if they can re-design their structure to hold more weight.

In this activity developed by Techbridge, participants explore some of the challenges related to cooking meals in regions where electric or gas stoves are scarce. They learn about potential problems (such as respiratory diseases) with using open fires for cooking. Then, youth design and build their own stove.
In this activity, participants explore glurch and oobleck. Glurch is a colloid that has the consistency of putty. Oobleck is a colloid that moves from a solid to a liquid and back again which is a non-Newtonian fluid.
