9th Annual WYAA Conference – Leading the Way Through Afterschool

The Wyoming Afterschool Alliance annual conference will be held October 4-5, 2017 in Cheyenne, WY. This conference is designed for school- and community-based programs taking place outside of formal school time. The goal is to provide professional development, technical assistance, and networking opportunities for afterschool providers and staff, coordinators and directors, school administrators, early childcare providers, youth development professionals, and key stakeholders from across Wyoming.

Click2Science: An Asset for Your Staff

Afterschool programs often have frequent staff turnover, and program administrators must find ways to train new staff members. It is difficult to provide off-site training for people. Click2Science has on-line resources for staff training to keep the quality of STEM instruction high. This session will introduce administrators and lead instructors to the Click2Science resources and how to organize a series of quick training sessions based on the Dimensions of Success goals for good STEM programming.
